SONEC Lacrosse Club ● HomeBoys “The Experience”

compete at the highest level

Experience a club culture built for the dedicated athlete. SONEC Lacrosse Club is Rhode Island’s home for year-round, high-intensity training designed to push your game to the next level. Our teams do more than just play they compete at the highest level. From local tournaments to the elite National Recruiting Circuit, we give our players the exposure and opportunities they need to stand out and get noticed by college coaches nationwide.

SPRING

During the spring season, our players continue their training with Sunday afternoon sessions in Middletown, RI and East Greenwich, RI, alternating locations each week. We strongly encourage all athletes to play for their town programs, as we value the relationships, community pride, and development that come from competing with future high school teammates and friends in the pursuit of state championships.

SUMMER

Our summer season begins in June and concludes by mid-July. Every SONEC team competes in four summer events, complemented by a preseason training camp and weekly regional-based training to keep players sharp and connected throughout the season.

FALL

In the fall, our high school and youth teams compete in premier tournaments held in October and November, with high school teams attending a minimum of three events and youth teams attending a minimum of two. We begin practice at the end of August and design our schedule to be flexible, respecting athletes’ other fall commitments. To further support development without overwhelming families, we offer Sunday training sessions throughout the season.

WINTER

Throughout the winter, our players can attend skill sessions offered on multiple days at various locations across Massachusetts and Rhode Island. We consider winter training the most critical component of our player development program, with fast-paced sessions focused on high-repetition, high-quality reps.
All skills and positional nights are included in the program fee, and players may attend as many or as few sessions as their schedule allows. Attendance is completely optional and not recorded, and we encourage families to choose the locations and nights that are most convenient geographically and fit best with their other commitments.
